reality

I usually don't really bother with personality tests, but when said test is set by psychologists, then you know it's time to sit up straight and listen up.

And as an INFP (which only represents 1%), at first it was hard to digest. I mean, despite the fact that I follow my feelings and intuition more often than I would care to admit it, to think that I rarely think (relative to employing my gut feelings) is enough to send me into doubts. Whether I can pull everything off without royally screwing things way too much.

But they say that relying on feelings isn't scientific enough. Understandable, since the scientific community insists on hard core facts rather than "I have a feeling that...".

Of course, the bit about INFPs possibly having an "unhappy childhood" made me ponder and recall the past.

I wouldn't say that it was unhappy, but say what you will, I'm more inclined to remember the shadows rather than the delights. Perhaps I have been to critical of myself from the start, so I am who I am today because of my past.

Of course, it is said that personalities can change. I suppose we'll have to see it for ourselves to really understand the reality of ourselves.

sukoshi

It is said that business is a noble profession. Now? Not all of them.
Focusing on clean businesses (likewise, I'll not be referring to liquors and other irreligious commodities), we as the consumers respect the fact that those who participate in this form of dealings need to make money (aye, aye, that axiom of money makes the world go 'round comes to mind) but we, as consumers, have equal rights on our own money, and how we choose to spend it (of course, as long as we follow His Commands in spending...). But!
Charging me an unreasonable price is unforgivable. And don't give me that rubbish about chickens being damn expensive - especially when I'm referring to my freaking meagre amount of rice.
I hate interacting with close-minded people.

P/s: Thank God for His unparalleled Generosity. I passed the exam - even though I had screwed it...So there is Hope, perhaps.
But this is no excuse for me to lax around, of course. It'll get tougher as my life goes on so...Saa! New strategies, new artilleries, new soldiers for new battles!
Banzai.

P/p/s: Yosh! Got Laruku's Link and Yui's Life in the end!

streak

The time for me to leave my life of comfort is nigh. Back to my torture chamber.
Confucius, in his Analects once said that "A scholar who cherishes the love of comfort is not fit to be deemed a scholar". So it hit me straight in my face.
I've always thought that I'm different (read: abnormal), in that some general rules that apply to mankind is incompatible with me. I believe that one can still beat the odds when one's fully relaxed i.e. in comfort. I believe that when I'm not truly comfortable with the situation I'm in, it takes away my focus from the main problem at hand. And that will bring dire consequences.
The downside of that is...it leaves me static. Meaning, it puts a limit to my variables. Providing a certain code - I have to be in this state at this specific place in this certain state of mind to perform - practically limits my capabilities as a whole.
In the end, no matter what, I'm still restrained, by these inherent chains.
So what choice do I really have? Do what I can and pray for the best?
For now, maybe that's the only way.

On a brighter note...I need Hachimitsu to Clover @ Honey and Clover. Maybe, if it's meant to be, I'll just rent it or something. Plot-wise the story is typical but...the strongest point is the characters (yup, that's what the reviewers said, and I agree!). Morita Shinobu is simply _hilarious_! And the anime managed to bring a smile to me, even when I was utterly down, down, down...

And what have I 'achieved' during my 10 days of break? I could only remember allocating time for my depression episodes, sleep (sleep, and more sleep...), reading non-academic stuff, watching tv (animes! I'm in heaven on Earth!) and...yes, downloading like crazy! It's a pity I never got Laruku's Link MV (or...Yui's Life, just for the whim of it...), since megaupload is being such a pain. And Kotani Kinya sounded different in Blaze, compared to his earlier songs - I couldn't recognise him!
But all good things must come to an end. And so must this entry too (not that it actually passes as a 'good thing'...Really. In the future, I'll look back to my past and...I'll get humiliated all over again. Erk!).
